OUR ORIGINS

Fluffy Owl World saw the light of day after our founder Yolanda Y'awa aka Mimi had a vision where fashion meets social change. She wanted to create a space where people felt safe and included whilst offering stylish, timeless but interesting clothes. And that’s how FOW as a concept, was created. At first, we tested the waters with a series of shops, and having found our target market, we decided to expand and open an online store.

Fluffy Owl World, founded by Yolanda Y’awa, also known as Mimi, emerged from a visionary idea where fashion seamlessly intersects with social change. Mimi aspired to create an inclusive environment where individuals could revel in stylish, timeless clothing that exudes character. This dream materialized into Fluffy Owl World, initially tested through a series of shops that successfully identified a devoted audience.

Encouraged by this response, we took the leap to expand into the online realm. Our unique approach combines vintage charm with contemporary flair, showcasing handmade and upcycled treasures that breathe new life into forgotten artifacts.

By honoring the past while embracing the future, Fluffy Owl World stands as a testament to the beauty of sustainable fashion, inviting everyone to express their individuality in a space where they truly belong.
